Broad Leaved Helleborine (E. Helleborine) Napp’s Hill Slad Valley July 2015. One of the most widespread orchids, even populating cities such as Glasgow.
It is a quite varied species, with flowers ranging from green / white through pink to almost mauve in colour. Plant height and shape can vary from 6cm to almost a metre and leaves delicate \almost like the Cephalantheras to the architectural form of the ‘neerlandica’.
