The Sword Leaved Helleborine (Cephalanthera Longifolia) Oversley Wood May 17th 2017. Also known as the narrow leaved helleborine, this statuesque orchid can grow to 40cm tall although it is common to see much smaller plants too.
Once a widespread orchid it is now quite scarce, with its stronghold being in Hampshire. There is a single colony in Warwickshire and another in Worcestershire
